Ridership Survey
Verification Program
(RSVP) automates key elements in the gathering
of ridership data and reporting.
Utilizing
RSVP-PDA software, for Pocket-PC hand held
computers, and the RSVP-Desktop, a Windows-based
database application; you simply load your
routes and stops onto the handheld devices
from RSVP Desktop and begin taking surveys.
Accurate
passenger count surveys can be performed
easily and quickly!
Do away with the time consuming methods
of gathering data using a clipboard, survey
forms and pencil, and then entering that
paper-based survey into a spreadsheet for
analysis and reporting.
RSVP-Desktop allows you to predefine routes,
patterns, stops, and other information for
a vehicle’s routes. RSVP-Desktop contains
all the reports you need to provide accurate
and timely information on passenger counts,
revenue, and FTA required reports (formerly
known as Section 15 reports).
Now
the time-consuming creation of reports
is replaced by the simple click of a button!
The
RSVP System includes two components:
