The college provides financial assistance to as many students as possible
through scholarships, grants, loans and job opportunities. Each funding
source has its own set of rules and regulations. Except for scholarships,
all programs require that a student show financial need in order to
qualify. Some financial aid programs require that a student be enrolled
full time, i.e. 12 units or more. Other programs provide that a student
may receive financial aid as long as that student is enrolled in at
least 0.5 unit, if that student is enrolled in a program leading to
an associate degree, a certificate program or transfer requirement.
The following programs are available
to qualified students:
- Bureau of Indian Affairs Grants
- Federal Pell Grants
- BOGW (Board of Governors' Waiver)
- FSEOG (Federal Supplemental Educational
Opportunity Grants)
- Federal Work Study
- OASIS
- Cal Grants B and C
- Federal District Student Loans
- Scholarships
