CARE (Financial Assistance)

Single head of household students who qualify for the CARE Program and have all of the required documentation in their files are considered for a childcare stipend. CARE monies are awarded in November/December for the fall term and April/May for the spring term. The Fall Care stipend ranges from $400 to $700. The Spring CARE stipend is contingent on maintaining active OASIS Program participation, satisfactory progress and unmet need. A childcare provider form must also be submitted at the beginning of each term.
Students who attend summer session (s) will also be considered for a late check disbursement based on the availability CARE monies and/or State recycled allocation.

GRANTS (Financial Assistance)

Financial assistance is offered by the OASIS program in the form of grants to help students pursue their educational goals. The OASIS grant is disbursed in December for the fall term and May for the spring term. The maximum amount of money awarded per year is $900. Grant awards may vary according to State budget and number of students eligible for monies. Priority sequence and requisites for grant determination is listed in the application section.
